Building? Renovating? There are some things you won’t think about before you move in! I share all those details here 🖤🤎 . Today’s Topic: The Linen Closet 🙌 . Space and size. Make sure the depth and storage is enough to hold all the essentials you need. Ours is 10’ tall - 4’6” wide - 20” depth. We can easily store towels, extra sheets, and all the other random things. . Functionality. We moved in and realized 4 wide drawers wouldn’t work! Having to open both doors to access the drawers was such a pain! We to have the drawers re-made to be eight separate drawers instead of four. Another way to make this more functional would be to remove the doors altogether. But I really like the doors, even though they serve no purpose other than to look good. 😂 . Bonus: We almost skipped LED lighting! I’m so happy we didn’t because this area can be really dark and the moment is truly showcased with the lighting. There are some fun after market options you can add too. . I’ve linked a few furniture options that I think would be really cool to add in a room as a furniture piece that can function as linen storage.
