Pops got to release baby sea turtles at a turtle conservation in ! 🐢🐢🐢 The turtles are hatched in protection and released under the guidance of specialist to help increase their survival rate.

At sundown, the babies are released onto the beach so they can learn how to make their way to the water. The lack of light helps prevent birds from preying on them.

We have a very fun series FLYING your way! ✈️ Learn about flying a with Pops! The first show in this three-part series is on our children’s YouTube channel now!

LEARN ABOUT GLIDERS 👇

✈️ - A glider is an aircraft that does not have an engine.

✈️ - To take off, a glider relies on a tow plane. The tow plane connects to the glider with a tow rope and pulls the glider down the runway and into the air. Once airborne and at the preferred altitude, the glider pilot communicates to release the tow rope, and the glider free-flies, relying on air current to stay aloft.

✈️ - Once free-flying, the pilot uses the wings, ailerons, rudder, and other parts of the glider in conjunction with air current to control its direction and altitude.

✈️ - Gliders are used for recreational, competitive, and teaching purposes.

✈️ - Flying a glider requires a pilot’s license.

With minimal voiceovers, this is a great episode to watch and see which animals your children and grandchildren can name on their own! Learn about the nomadic from our new friend, Joseph! 🌍 This is one of our FAVORITE episodes from Pops’ Africa series on YouTube! Your children will see how the Samburu tribe lives, from inside their hut to beautiful songs performed women and children of the tribe.

See zebras and rhinoceros on our recent Pops on the Trail show (plus a cameo from another species!)! 🦓🦏 We’re in the midst of a series on Africa on our children’s YouTube channel and it’s been so much fun sharing the continent’s amazing animals! 🌍

🦓 DID YOU KNOW? 🦓

• Zebra stripes are unique, similar to our fingerprints. No two zebras have the same pattern!

• A herd of zebras is also known as a dazzle or zeal.

• Zebras can run at speeds up to 40 mph. (Interestingly, rhinoceros can also run 30-40 mph!)

• Zebras often sleep standing up, which makes it easier to escape predators.
