Upcoming Capt.'s license training course at Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming March 2nd to March 13th. This is a class to become a licensed Captain through the Coast Guard to operate on Federal waterways as a fishing guide or tour guide with up to 6 paying passengers. The Course covers 4 subjects that must be passed by the corresponding percentages: 1. Navigation and Piloting (70%), 2. Charting (90%), 3. Rules of the Road (90%), and 4. Deck General (70%).

Getting the study guides ahead of the class by at least 2 weeks really helps with your chances at passing the course. You will be sent an electronic version of the study guides after payment of the class tuition of $1,695.00. Registration is limited to 15 persons. To sign up, call or text Capt. We should oppose this fee increase without further information on how the money would be used. The next increase may directly impact all hunters with license fee increases. Why should the state be able to increase a non refundable fee for unsuccessful draw results?

A bill in the Wyoming legislature is proposing an increase for hunting application fees. 400% is the round number being discussed and it seems like a lot but what does that actually look like?
