Coconut Creek City Commission made a Proclamation recognizing April 2025 as Autism Acceptance Month last night.

TIE staff support the work of Juliana Caranza and the CARD board members as they build inclusive opportunities for individuals with autism within their community. We are thankful that Mrs. Caranza is part of our ATC TIE Advisory.

Our Artist in residence participated at the Plunge in Fort Lauderdale and at the Sample McDougald House in Pompano.

The Artist Open House featured a talented group of Artists with Autism, showcasing their unique and diverse perspectives through a wide range of creative mediums.
Each artist's work is a reflection of their individual experiences, interests and emotions providing a glimpse into their world and opening new avenues of understanding and appreciation for the Autistic Community.

Last week Coral Springs, Florida Government invited our Coral Springs TIE students to Get Healthy!
We had a wonderful time exploring Coral Springs Riverside Park. There are many things to do there like basketball, beach volleyball, pickleball, walking track, and a Ninja course that is great for anyone who likes parkour. They have a whole lot of exercise machines that are made to be used by all. All of the workout machines are wheelchair accessible!!
Seen here are:

Kamal at the top of the Ninja course
Arath at the top of the rope climb
Kennedy using the row machine
Bryan & then Kamal using the chest press machine
