🇺🇸 Some of the most meaningful lessons don’t happen on paper—they happen through connection. ❤️

Tutoring has never been just about academics for me. Yes, we celebrate reading, writing, math, and milestones… but along the way, something even more beautiful happens. We build trust. We laugh. We encourage one another. We create memories. Before we know it, a special bond has formed.

Teaching is about touching hearts just as much as it is about shaping minds, and I’m so grateful for every child who becomes part of my journey. 💛

Para mim, dar aulas particulares nunca foi apenas sobre o aprendizado acadêmico. Sim, comemoramos cada conquista na leitura, escrita e matemática… mas, ao longo do caminho, algo ainda mais bonito acontece. Construímos confiança. Damos boas risadas. Incentivamos uns aos outros. Criamos memórias. E, sem perceber, nasce um vínculo muito especial.

Ensinar é tocar o coração das crianças tanto quanto desenvolver suas mentes, e sou profundamente grata por cada aluno que faz parte da minha caminhada. 💛

🇺🇸🇺🇸 My daughter said, “Mom, dress like a cow. We’ll get free Chick-fil-A.” 🐄❤️

Did I hesitate? Not even for a second.

If you know me, you know I’m all in. Whether I’m teaching children to read, creating fun learning experiences, or dressing up like a cow for a free meal… I believe life is meant to be lived with joy, laughter, and just the right amount of silliness.

My students get my creativity.
My family gets my craziness.
And honestly… I think they’re both pretty lucky. 😂

🇺🇸 In the last few minutes of our session, I let creativity take the lead. With house miniatures, the children build their own perfect home scenario — arranging rooms, furniture, and objects while imagining their little world.

After creating, they choose up to five of their favorite objects and write a sentence using the names of those objects. Along the way they learn new vocabulary, practice sounding out words, and I always emphasize using a capital letter at the beginning and a period at the end.

Learning happens best when creativity, movement, and joy are part of the process.

🇧🇷Nos últimos minutos das nossas aulas eu deixo a criatividade tomar conta. Com miniaturas de casa, as crianças constroem o seu cenário perfeito — organizando cômodos, móveis e objetos enquanto imaginam seu próprio pequeno mundo.

Depois de criar, elas escolhem até cinco de seus objetos favoritos e escrevem uma frase usando o nome desses objetos. Nesse processo, aprendem novo vocabulário, praticam os sons das palavras e eu sempre reforço o uso da letra maiúscula no início e do ponto final no final da frase.

Aprender acontece de forma muito mais significativa quando criatividade, movimento e alegria fazem parte do processo.
