Go to seminary. Stay in your local church.

As a “church-based” institution, RBS operates under the oversight of the local church and the counsel of an advisory board, academic committee, and other likeminded churches. The seminary’s faculty primarily consists of instructors who not only have biblical knowledge and teaching ability, but also are qualified pastors engaged in pastoral ministry. Finally, RBS requires each student’s pastor to provide general oversight of his training and to serve as his mentor and proctor.

Operating as usual

Graduate Profile: Nicolas Cathcart — Reformed Baptist Seminary I started RBS right before I left for law school. Because of the flexible, online nature of RBS, I was able to stay enrolled even as I moved four hours away to Gainesville, and I continued to take classes throughout law school.

Is God's Love Like a Hurricane? — Reformed Baptist Seminary 10/09/2024

The song “How He Loves” compares God’s love to “a hurricane” and the believer as “bending beneath the weight of His wind and mercy.” But hurricanes are overpowering forces that bring destruction, suffering, and, in some cases, death. Is a hurricane, then, an appropriate metaphor for divine love?
