"Traditional barber schools are still teaching programs that hadn't been updated since 1968. That's why Invictus was created."

I help barbers become BLACK BELT BARBERS
📚 Founder of Invictus Institute of Barbering
👇🏿 Info about Classes and Workshops👇🏿
https://www.invictusinstituteofbarbering.com Tico has more than twenty years behind the chair and received training from the most respected academies in the world: Vidal Sassoon, Paul Mitchell, Menspire UK, and Ego Barbers UK. In 2017, Tico founded Invictus Barber Shop in Coconut Creek: a destination chair for UFC fighters, celebrities, and clients who recognize the difference between a haircut and a craft. In 2024, he turned that craft into a curriculum: Invictus Institute of Barbering, a modern school built for the way modern barbers actually work, because he watched too many barbers graduate broke from programs that hadn't been updated since 1968.

I was allowed to have hundreds of excuses. Poverty. No education. ADHD. Dyslexia. No opportunities. No English. No Money. No connections. I could be the “victim”. I had reasons to victimize myself.

But I chose to be the hero and the author of my own story. Barbering is a huge part of who I am today. This profession changed my life and I believe it can change yours too!

But instead of a year, I can help you get there in just 90 days.

Some barbers build a name behind the chair.
Others build a legacy by teaching the next generation!
inspired me to think bigger about barbering.

I trained at Menspire, learned his method, and saw firsthand how knowledge can reach far beyond your own chair.
That experience pushed me to create my own academy, my own system, and a new way to educate barbers.
Today, my mission is to transform average people into high-performance barbers in just 90 days.

Learn the craft -> Build your system -> Teach what you know -> Create your legacy

The next influential barber could be you!

“Who is actually paying $100 for a haircut?”
People who value the experience.
People who value consistency.
People who value expertise.
People who have found a barber they trust.

But honestly, this video isn’t about my $100 haircut.
It’s about what’s possible! Too many people enter barbering believing their ceiling is $25 or $30 haircuts forever.
It doesn’t have to be. Your skill can improve.
Your clientele can change. Your reputation can grow.
Your services can evolve. Your business can expand.
You can become a shop owner, an educator, a content creator, a brand, a mentor.
You can build something that employs other people.

That’s what I want the next generation of barbers to understand. I’m not teaching you how to stay behind a chair. I’m teaching you how to build a career from what happens behind that chair. The haircut is the skill… What you build with that skill is up to you!

And that’s where barbering gets really interesting.

EPISODE 14 - GONZALEZ UPDATE

Wondering what happens to my students after they graduate?

I visited them to check how they are doing.

This is Gonzalez’s updates since I last visited him.

It was not one thing that changed the game for me. It was a combination of multiple things. But the most important one was seeking knowledge, going to workshops, seminars, investing in a coach… that’s what opened my eyes and helped me see what was holding me back.

And now my mission is to pass this knowledge to others, so they can succeed in the industry much faster than I did. Thats why I closed my successful barbershop to dedicate full time to education. The best decision of my life.

Everyone told him to close his barbershop.
He was approximately $120,000 in debt and from the outside, it looked like he had made a terrible mistake.

But what if everyone else was looking at the wrong thing?
His name is Seu Elias ® , one of Brazil’s most respected names in barbering. He started cutting hair at 13 years old and went on to build something far bigger than a barbershop.

He saw that a haircut could become an experience.
That experience could become a brand.
That brand could become products, franchises, schools, events, and an entire industry.

Today, his business is projected to generate approximately $12 million in revenue with multiple locations, thousands of haircuts every month, and more than 100,000 students trained.

But here’s the part that inspires me most:
He didn’t just build an empire. He stayed true to his vision and his principles.
Seu Elias was one of my biggest inspirations when I opened my own barbershop. His story helped shape the way I think about barbering, business, and opportunity.

The biggest lesson? The chair was never the business. The chair was the beginning.

So let me ask you: Are you only looking at the haircut, or can you see everything that barbering could become?

Write down your vision. Every dream. Every goal.
Then get to work. Because one day, you might look back and realize you’re living the life you once wrote on paper.
