Get ready for a week of discovery, adventure, and hands-on fun! Join us for Ag Explorers Summer Camp, where youth will dig into the exciting world of agriculture through interactive activities, outdoor experiences, and plenty of opportunities to learn by doing.
🌟 Campers will:
🐝 Become bee detectives and discover how honey bees help grow the fruits and vegetables we love
🌱 Plant and grow their own microgreens and try a fun mushroom-growing project to take home
🥩 Explore the journey from farm to table and learn how beef is raised and processed
⚽ Hit the field for Soccer Day while discovering how healthy soils and thriving grass systems support both agriculture and recreation
🌞 Make new friends, get outdoors, build confidence, and develop real-world skills while exploring where our food comes from

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON WORKSHOP
Sat., April 18th, 9am-3pm
"Intro to Beekeeping" will give you the basic knowledge to get started with your beekeeping hobby or business. You will learn about the components of a hive, how to select equipment that is right for you, how a bee colony lives, how to use beekeeping tools and protective gear, and how to acquire and begin managing your own bee colonies. (No live bees used during this class. You are welcome to attend our future hands-on field days in apiaries at no cost in the future.) Lunch is included.
