🚨 “But I found a CPR class online for $20…”
We hear this ALL the time, so let’s talk about it.
Yes—you can find inexpensive CPR courses online.
But watching CPR videos online and completing an in-person, hands-on CPR certification course are NOT the same thing.
When you attend a hands-on CPR class, you aren’t paying someone to show you information you could Google.
❤️ You’re learning how to actually perform CPR on a manikin.
❤️ You’re practicing chest compressions and learning what the correct depth and rate actually FEEL like.
❤️ You’re learning how to use an AED—not simply watching someone else use one on a screen.
❤️ You have a real instructor watching your technique, correcting mistakes, answering questions, and making sure you can actually perform the skills.
❤️ Most importantly, you leave having practiced what to do when a real person’s life is in front of you.
There is a HUGE difference between:
💻 “I watched a video about CPR.”
and
🫀 “I have physically practiced CPR, used an AED trainer, demonstrated the skills, received instructor feedback, and earned my certification through a recognized training program.”
That distinction also matters to employers.
Many workplaces—particularly healthcare programs, clinical environments, and employers with specific certification requirements—will not accept just any inexpensive online CPR certificate. Always verify exactly which certification your employer or school requires before spending money on a course.

Our students don’t just sit and watch CPR.

Because if someone collapses in front of you someday, there won’t be a video playing beside them telling you what to do.
