Our 2nd & 3rd graders wove science and social studies into their daily activities this year. The kids dove in through:
β’ Daily discussions and real-life connections
β’ Writing projects and reports
β’ Worksheets and journals
β’ Hands-on exploration during centers and outside at recess
The real-life, authentic experiences give them a deeper understanding, stronger retention, and help build essential foundational skills in developmentally appropriate ways.

K/1 spent the morning practicing new reading and spelling patterns with a post-it note scavenger hunt. A fun way to get the wiggles out and practice reading at the same time! β€οΈπππ
