Kelsey Mack needs help on Saturday (11:00 - 3:30) at the annual tree giveaway. If you can spare some time on Saturday (even if it is an hour or so) please contact Kelsey. If you know students who need community service hours for Bright Futures scholarships or others who may be willing to help, please share or forward as appropriate....

New service opportunity!
"Hello Brevard County Folks,
Please join ORCA and City of Satellite Beach on March 18th from 9am to 2pm as we install a buffered shoreline at DeSoto Park and transform over 300' of turf to native plants. Volunteer hours will be issued to students who bring their appropriate paperwork.

Volunteer Opportunity:
The City of Cocoa Beach is hosting an annual seaoat planting on Saturday February 18th from 9-11:30am at Shepard Park.
Volunteers will utilize the newly painted sand dune stakes by using them as fence posts to mark the newly planted sea oat areas on the beach.

Need service hours? There is a volunteer opportunity this Saturday for anyone interested. See below for details:
Beach Cleanup – This Saturday, January 28
Location: 1st Street South Beach Access
Time: 9am-11am
The Surfrider and the Beach Bucket Foundation are partnering with Tiny Turtle to host all beach cleanup participants for music & food from 11am-12:30pm after the cleanup. All who participate with cleanup will get a wrist band, for a free appetizer at Tiny Turtle that can be used directly after the event.
