What a bitter sweet day it was for me today. For the last 7 1/2 years I have had at least one grandchild in my program if not both of them. Today was my youngest grandson’s last day with me as he heads off to kindergarten tomorrow. I know he is ready! I know he is prepared and will succeed in kindergarten and beyond. I have cherished the time I have spent with them both. I am thankful that I was able to play such an important role in helping to prepare him (and my granddaughter) for kindergarten. I will miss my sweet kisses from Ryan. I reminded him to not kiss his kindergarten teacher 🤣. Today we did everything he has loved doing while here…he caught an imperial moth who loved hanging out with him for quite sometime. He was even able to transfer it from his finger to the dandelion and we enjoyed observing it. He enjoyed one last water day, laying under the tree talking with a friend, playing bingo and jenga. Not to mention one last famous lunch of Grandi’s Mac and Cheese❤️. You’ve got this Ryan! Grandi loves you!

Today we read ‘My Wild First Day Of School’ and took turns answering the prompt ‘During my first week of school I will…’. I loved hearing what was important to each of my investigators! I had 3 investigators who loved standing and watching our caterpillars today ❤️.
