SUNY Cobleskill Dairy Cattle Club College kids with a passion for dairy cattle and helping to educate our peers, our communities, and the general public about the dairy industry!

Trips, club sponsored contests, and a consignment sale of registered cattle are just some of the activities. It is a welcomed attraction to animal science, dairy, and other majors continuing their education here at Cobleskill. This club is open to any person, from any major interested in cattle.

The ANSC 132 class has been busy the past several weeks prepping heifers for last week’s High School Ag Day Dairy Judging Contest.
This week Professor Edsall randomly put teams together for a team fitting and showing day! Heard of glitter slaps - well we have something better at Cobleskill!
Serving as prestigious judges for the day were:
Professor Tarvis, Meat Lab Manager Betsy Jenson and alumni Aydan Low.

SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech Dairy Judging team wrapped up a competitive weekend of contests at World Dairy Expo.
🥈 Post Secondary Collegiate Traditional Dairy Cattle Judging Contest.
🥇 Ayrshire Team Breed - 🥇Natalie Michaud 🥉 Cait O'Sullivan
🥇Guernsey Team Breed - 🥇Amelia Somers 🥉 Cait O’Sullivan 4th Hayden Ayers
🥈Brown Swiss Team - 🥈Hayden
🥈Holstein Team 🥈 Cait, 4th Hayden
🥈Milking Shorthorn Team - 🥈Hayden
🥈 Red & White Holstein 🥈Natalie
4th - Jersey Team
Individual Placings: 4th Hayden, 6th Cait, 8th Natalie and 14th Amelia

The team also participated in the Practical Contest. Where Hayden placed 3rd in Linear Evaluation and Amelia was 9th 🏆

It has been 5 straight weeks of practices and 3 weekends straight of contests. Many laughs and memories made! 🏆🏆

Another great weekend sorting dairy cows for the SUNY Cobleskill Dairy Judging team at The Big E.
Holding our own against the land grant universities- SUNY Cobleskill Ag & Tech claimed 2nd place and all four members placed in the top 10!
