VSU () partnered with Petersburg High School JROTC Program to host their spring community workshop focused on financial fluency and wealth-building. Students from JROTC were introduced to foundational concepts with CFFL and Wharton Professor Keith Weigelt leading an interactive session on budgeting and investing! 

Students asked provoking questions, participated in discussions, and reflected on personal financial goals and habits. The community workshop exposed students to financial concepts that are often not introduced in traditional school settings.

These workshops also help strengthen relationships between universities, local schools, and community organizations, reflecting CFFL’s ecosystemic model of building intergenerational wealth.

CFFL was proud to partner with Lincoln University of PA (LU-PA) and New Life in Christ Fellowship for the Spring 2026 LU-PA Community Workshop in Coatesville, bringing students and community members together for a day of learning, connection, and empowerment. Students helped lead presentations on topics including budgeting, credit, and investing, sharing practical tools to help participants build stronger financial futures.

Community Workshops are a unique part of the CFFL experiences by creating opportunities for students to take what they learn in the classroom and bring it directly into the local community. This is how wealth education expands into impact.
