Participating in Music builds new pathways in the brain! Similar to sports building strong muscular strength, Music builds new pathways in the brain. It is worth repeating because we have a mindset about only talented people should participate in music. I think everyone can and should participate in music because it builds new pathways in the brain!
Music Education is missing the mark by training all students as if they want to be in the orchestra or marching band. Some might be content to just play music for their own enjoyment. Music also helps students learn math and science. Participating In Music Builds New Pathways in the Brain🎶.
