Hello. This post is from Mary E. Kyle. Kim Brickhouse and I had a chance to dine at Foode & Mercantile, which is a restaurant in Fredericksburg, VA owned by our Alum Joy Crump. Foode is open for dinner and Mercantile is lunch/dinner. Both restaurants are in the same building which used to be a bank. We ate in the area that used to be the vault. I can personally vouch for the chicken & waffles and Sangria. The waffle melted in your mouth. Joy was not on sight that day but the mgr on duty sent her a text telling her we were there. I highly recommend.
