One of my favorite parts of Wildflower Balloons is getting to help make back-to-school season feel a little more magical and special for our community. There is just something about that first day, the excitement, the nerves, the new beginnings, and I love being able to add a little Wildflower magic to it. 🎈✏️🍎

Last year, we were able to do a back-to-school display giveaway. I had hoped to bring it back again this year, but with our family currently in the middle of a move, I just can't commit to a display right now.

But I absolutely couldn't let back-to-school season pass without doing something special.💕

So this year, we are choosing TWO lucky schools to each receive:

🎈 One 6-ft balloon garland
🎈 Two mini balloon stacks

✨Please make sure your school is latex-friendly If latex balloons are not permitted inside your school, the garland and stacks can absolutely be displayed outdoors to welcome students on their first day.

Sometimes it's the little extra touches that make a child's first day feel even more exciting, and we cannot wait to help two schools create that extra bit of magic for their students. ✨

We are SO excited to welcome our newest Wildcats to Kindergarten Orientation at Rainbow Elementary School!

📅 Thursday, August 27, 2026
⏰ 2:30–3:30 p.m.

Our incoming kindergarteners will have the chance to:
✨ Meet their kindergarten teacher
🏫 Tour Rainbow Elementary School
🐾 Get familiar with their new school
🚌 Take a ride on a school bus!

And of course, the Rainbow PTO will be there, too! Stop by to meet us, learn a little more about what we do, and find out how you can get involved throughout the school year. We’d LOVE to meet our newest Rainbow families! 🥰

Hey, hi, how are ya?! Happy summer! We know it might be too soon to start thinking about next school year, but for our future and returning wildcats interested in before and/or after care who want to get a head start, this one’s for you!

A Child’s Place (ACP) offers convenient before and after school care right here at Rainbow Elementary for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade!

✔️ Before Care: 6:30 AM – 9:15 AM
✔️ After Care: 3:45 PM – 6:00 PM
✔️ Full-time, part-time, and drop-in options available
✔️ Monthly billing
✔️ ELRC accepted

Programs are located right at your child’s school, making before and after school care easy and convenient for busy families.

🎉📚 That’s a wrap on another amazing year at Rainbow Elementary School! 🌈❤️🖤

As we close the chapter on the 2025-2026 school year, we want to take a moment to celebrate all of the accomplishments, memories, friendships, and learning that filled our hallways.

A special congratulations goes out to our incredible 5th Grade Class of 2026! 🎓🐾 We are so proud of each of you as you take the next big step into middle school. Continue to dream big, work hard, and remember that once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat! ❤️🖤

This year was also a year of exciting new beginnings. Congratulations to our principal, Mr. K, on a successful first year leading Rainbow Elementary! Your dedication, leadership, and commitment to our students helped make this a fantastic year. We were also thrilled to welcome Mrs. Becker as our new assistant principal and are grateful for the positive impact she has already made on our school community.

Throughout the year, our Wildcats demonstrated what it means to follow the Wildcat Code—showing respect, responsibility, and being safe every day. We couldn’t be prouder of our students!

A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to our outstanding teachers, staff, support personnel, and faculty members. Your hard work, passion, patience, and dedication help make Rainbow such a special place to learn and grow. 🌈🍎❤️

🌈☀️ Field Day Fun at Rainbow Elementary! ☀️🌈

On May 15th, our Wildcats had an unforgettable day full of laughter, teamwork, and friendly competition as we celebrated Field Day! We kicked things off in the best way possible — with our amazing teachers and faculty members racing in hilarious inflatable animal costumes! 🐻🦖🐰 The laughs and cheers started early and lasted all day long.

Each grade proudly wore a different color shirt to represent the rainbow, filling the school with bright colors and even brighter smiles. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Students showed off their competitive sides during games like Drip, Drip, Drench 💦, exciting relay races on the baseball diamond ⚾, sack races 🏁, and even got creative as sidewalk chalk artists 🎨. There was truly something for everyone to enjoy!

Field Day was the perfect way to begin winding down another wonderful school year and making memories together as a school family.

A HUGE thank you to our incredible teachers, staff, high school students, and 5th grade helpers for making the day such a success. Your energy, support, and enthusiasm helped create a day our students will never forget!

Wildcats rule! 🐾

✨ Calling all Rainbow parents, grandparents, guardians, hype people, snack organizers, and “I could maybe help a little” humans ✨

Our PTO is looking for volunteers to fill open board positions for next year! We have such a small but dedicated group right now — many of whom even use personal or PTO days from work to help make school events happen — and we’d absolutely love to grow our team. More helping hands means more fun ideas, more support for our school, and a lighter lift for everyone. 🤍

The PTO helps make so many fun and meaningful things happen at Rainbow, including:
• school events & family nights
• teacher appreciation goodies
• classroom support & supplies
• fundraising for school needs
• fun extras for our students and staff
• creating community and connection for our families

You do NOT need to be a Pinterest mom, event-planning expert, or person who “has it all together.” If you care about our school and want to help in any capacity, we’d love to hear from you.
