These two did NOT plan the matching outfits today- together they’re working so incredibly hard for our staff and students!

Let’s give them a round of applause or shout out in the comments!

A New Beginning at Doe Run

Tomorrow we open a brand-new door,
To a school we’ve never seen before.
New halls to walk, new rooms to explore,
New memories waiting behind every door.

There’ll be teachers we’re meeting for the very first time,
New faces to know, new friendships to find.
But sprinkled among the new, like familiar old friends,
Are the faces we’ve known—comfort that never ends.

Some may feel nervous, some excited too,
Wondering what this first day will bring for you.
But one thing is certain as we start something new:
Doe Run is a place made for me and for you.

From the first morning bell to the end of the day,
We’ll learn, laugh, discover, and find our own way.
We’ll fill these new hallways with stories and cheer,
And build something special that grows year after year.

So here’s to new beginnings, new dreams, and new starts,
To teachers who teach with their whole hearts.
To familiar faces and friendships brand new—
And all of the wonderful things we will do.

Tomorrow isn’t just the first day of school…
It’s the first page of a story we’ll write together.

Welcome to Doe Run Elementary! 🖤❤️
Let’s make it a year to remember.
