⚖️ JUSTICE IS SERVED AT IMS!
Today, Mrs. McIntyre’s 8th-grade ELA students brought Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart” to life through an interactive mock trial!
Throughout the week, students worked diligently to prepare for their individual courtroom roles. They wrote witness statements, filed police reports, logged evidence, studied courtroom rules and etiquette, and developed compelling arguments. Today, all of their hard work came together in an exciting courtroom experience! With many students dressing the part, the courtroom atmosphere felt authentic as students put their critical-thinking, communication, and persuasive-speaking skills to the test.
