With heavy hearts, we have to inform Dennis's friends and ministry partners that Dennis De Grasse passed from his life on this earth and entered into his eternal reward on Friday, December 3, 2021. We have great sorrow at his passing, but look forward in hope to the day we are reunited with him in Heaven, where "there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." (Revelation 21:4)

Good morning Saints, it’s been awhile since I posted anything. We have witnessed many changes in our own lives and in our own country. Someone has said; “The only thing that is here to stay is change”! As I get older I find I’m a little less flexible on the other hand I’m a little less surprised.

There have been reports of hostility towards believers. I haven’t experienced anything myself, but hostility towards believers is nothing new. We may seem like an easy target. Christians are not given to violence and retribution, so we may appear to be harmless sheep. You may feel that you are living in perilous times, but I find that it’s good to remember to whom you belong. You are the Bride of someone very special.

Act 9:1 Now Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest, 2 and asked for letters from him to the synagogues at Damascus, so that if he found any belonging to the Way, both men and women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. 3 As he was traveling, it happened that he was approaching Damascus, and suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him; 4 and he fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?" 5 And he said, "Who are You, Lord?" And He said, "I am Jesus whom you are persecuting,....notice Jesus’ reaction to Saul’s actions against believers. Jesus could have said why are you persecuting my believers, but He said “why are you persecuting me”? Jesus takes it very personally when we are being troubled and persecuted. We are members of His Body.

I find it amazing How the persecutor became a great Apostle of Christ. Remember, our God is the author of great change. His change always brings blessings to His Bride. Amen

Good morning Saints, As I was reading the scriptures today, I was inspired by The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares. We are living this truth out every day. We are in times of harvest upon the Earth. Hundreds of thousands are being added to the Kingdom daily while just as many are perishing each day. Didn’t Jesus tell us that “The fields are white into harvest”? You might not be seeing a harvest in your particular patch, but keep sowing the seed in hope. Keep praying over the seed you have sown and don’t lose hope in the power of the seed. The heathen have a reason to rage; all their carefully laid plans come to nothing. God is supreme ruler in His creation and His Kingdom is coming and His will is being done more and more! Amen!

Good morning Saints, Today I was struck by a new thought, usually I have to be struck for it to even make it into my head. I have heard many opinions concerning the virus from, it’s God’s judgement to conspiracy theories of all sorts, including that it was made in a laboratory and released on purpose. I have no insider information about any of those theories, but I find it amazing that most, if not all, of the nations in the earth have actually been willing to place the well being of its’ citizens above itself. When have you ever seen a nation turn off its’ supply of income, sacrifice the comfort of all for the benefit of the few? Not very often. This is a worldwide phenomenon! Perhaps God is at work here. Perhaps we should give Him the credit for this outbreak, not of a virus, but and outbreak of kindness and compassion. Just a thought. Amen

Good morning Saints, We are living in days of great change. 911 changed America and this virus will change the world! Our prayers must be that our Lord will use these events for the advantage of the Kingdom of God. Hopefully the Body of Christ will find many opportunities to serve their neighbors in agape’ love, and our peace and faith will impact those who are watching us. Amen

Good morning Saints, like yourselves, I am sheltering at home. Just about two weeks ago I was in Florida. There is an old song; “What a difference a day makes...”! Little did we know what kind of difference was on the way. I am struck by how the whole world has been humbled; not by political power, armed forces or financial might! We are brought low by something unseen by the naked eye; something totally unexpected.
I am reminded of my own youth, nowhere to go, not much to do, two stations on the TV, somehow we made it. Life will go on for most of us, but don’t waste this time of relative separation, this can be a time of renewal for us. The distractions are set aside temporarily so make the most of it. Perhaps we can see some clues in our lives as to where our faith really lies, I.e. the government, science and medicine, or the Lord. All, except the Lord, are likely to disappoint. Hopefully in all of our American “greatness “ we can humble ourselves as a nation before the one really knows all the answers. Amen
