Tomorrow (Wed, Aug 12) at 7pm is Meet the Band Night. Weather will determine if we are in the stadium or in the aux gym tomorrow. Check back here for the final call! Looking forward to premiering the 26-27 Clyde Flier Marching Band!

Our Field Commanders this year are Gavin Brandon and Daryk Mominee. They both recently completed the George N. Parks Drum Major Academy and are ready to take on their leadership roles. Our Marching Fliers begin daily practices next week and we are looking forward to another great season!

Due to the forecasted heat index of 105 degrees tomorrow, the marching band will not be performing in the GS 4th of July Parade. These kids aren't just sitting on a float waving to the crowd--they are marching, performing, and in some cases carrying up to 40lbs of equipment on blacktop & concrete all while having limited access to water for an extended period of time.

Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students. Stay safe and enjoy the weekend with your families! -Mr. D

Also, these kids are on it and punctual! Their report time was 7:30 at the front gate. We took attendance, snapped these photos, and were pulling out of the lot by 7:37!
