Attendees will leave with an understanding that each one of them have the potential to be the difference in the lives of our students. Difficult conversations. As schools move toward comprehensive community schools models, positive relationships and interactions between school personnel and community members are more important than ever. At the same time we look to enhance these relationships, historically high stress levels in the community and in our schools are creating challenges in communication. Our personnel represent the entire school district in every interaction. Negative interactions can quickly go viral on social media. This in-service will provide strategies to help personnel to keep their cool, build trusting relationships with community and represent your school in a positive light, even under unfavorable conditions.
