McPherson Middle School Boys defended their Norm Bray Invitational Championship Title from 2025 and came out on top AGAIN this year, led by Lincoln Prentice, who not only won the individual title but also posted a personal best time of 12:24. Christian Fretz also ran a personal best of 14:05 for the 2-mile course.

The Middle School Girls team was missing some key runners and finished 2nd overall. Ryleigh Morre and Izzy Rodriguez led the Lady Fliers with 2nd and 7th place finishes

Tonight, the MMS Flier football teams traveled to Eastwood for non conference football match up. The 7th grade Fliers came out firing on all cylinders as the defense rocked the Eagles for many tackles for loss. That led to the Fliers offense rolling and scoring early and often and by the half, the Fliers were up 22-0 at the half. In the second half it was more of the same as the Fliers swarmed the Eagle offense and added two more scores and came away with a big 36-0 win! The 7th grade Fliers are now 1-1 on the season. Great job 7th grade!

The 8th grade Fliers dominated in all three phases of game, as the offense, defense and special teams all played lights out! The Fliers scored early and often and led 28-0 at the half and continued much of the same in the second half and rolled to a big 34-0 win. The defense once again dominated and made plays all over the field. The 8th grade defense has started the season having not allowed a point in 8 quarters of football! The Fliers are 2-0 and both teams will travel to Tiffin Columbian in a Northern Ohio Conference matchup. Great job 8th grade!

Also shout out to all of our cheerleaders making the trip and doing an outstanding job cheering on the Fliers!

Tonight the MMS volleyball teams hosted the Sandusky Blue Streaks in Northern Ohio Conference volleyball. It was also the Fliers home opener on the season and the Fliers split on the night in front of a great crowd. The 7th grade Fliers dropped to 0-3 on the season but they battled all night long taking the game to three sets, ultimately falling 20-25, 25-22, and 15-25. Great effort girls and keep working hard! In the 8th grade game, the Fliers used strong serving, good serve receive and some strong hits at the net to take down the Blue Streaks in both sets 25-10. The win improves the 8th grade to 2-1 on the season. Great job 8th grade Fliers! Both teams are back in action on Monday as they host the Huron Tigers.
