☀️🎨 Summer Fun Continues This Week at Haywood Haven’s Summer Community Center! 🎨☀️

Looking for a fun way for your child to spend a summer day with friends?

Join us Tuesday and Thursday for games, creativity, outdoor fun, and hands-on activities in a Christ-centered environment where children are encouraged, engaged, and connected.

We’ll spend the morning practicing math and language arts skills through fun, interactive games designed to help students stay sharp over the summer without feeling like school. Then we’ll enjoy lunch, free play, and a special enrichment activity each afternoon!

🎒 Tuesday
Tie-Dye Drawstring Adventure Bags
Students will create colorful tie-dye bags that are perfect for carrying summer treasures, library books, snacks, and adventure gear!

🏳️ Thursday
Felt Name Banners
Children will design and create personalized felt banners to hang in their room and enjoy long after summer ends.

FIELD DAY
Relay races, obstacle courses, team challenges, outdoor games, and plenty of opportunities to move, laugh, and make new friends.

WATER DAY
Bring a towel, clothes, and water shoes that can get wet! We'll cool off with water games and summer fun.

Summer Membership:
* $350 per child, per month
Includes all Tuesday & Thursday activities plus a monthly family meetup.

Drop-In Options:

* $50 Full Day

This month's family meetup is a trip to Santa Land!

We’re excited to share a look at our Fall 2026–27 schedule at Haywood Haven.

Our days are thoughtfully designed to create a steady rhythm of learning, connection, and purpose. From the moment students arrive, they are welcomed into a space where relationships matter, learning is meaningful, and each child is known.

Tuesday through Thursday, our mornings are focused on strong academic foundations in math and language arts, with time built in for connection, movement, and rest. Afternoons shift into discovery, discussion, and hands-on learning, with different rhythms depending on the day.

What makes Haywood Haven unique is the partnership with families. We send home clear assignments and guidance so parents can confidently facilitate learning at home, and families have the flexibility to build a schedule that truly fits their needs.

We also offer:
• Enrichment classes on select Mondays
• Monthly field trips or community meet-ups
• A Christ-centered environment rooted in purpose and discipleship

This is more than a schedule. It is a framework for growth, community, and transformation.

We know this intuitively, but it's great that the science backs it up. Play is not optional. That's why our students have close to 2.5 hours of play sprinkled throughout the day! And the results are all the proof we need: deeper learning, happier students, zero behavior issues, children who love their haven.
