One of our favorite moments each year is kicking off the Grants for Great Ideas Cash Caravan.

The moment the drumline starts to play and the parade begins, you can feel the excitement build. It gives us chills every time. In that moment, we know that incredible ideas are about to come to life in classrooms across Brazosport ISD. Innovative projects, hands-on learning experiences, and new opportunities for students are about to become a reality.

Congratulations to our 2025–2026 Grants for Great Ideas recipients. We are so proud of your hard work, creativity, and dedication to your students. Your passion for learning and your willingness to dream big is what makes these moments so special.

We are also incredibly grateful to the donors and community members who make this program possible. Your generosity continues to open doors for our educators and create meaningful opportunities for BISD students every single day.

Thank you for believing in our teachers, our students, and the power of great ideas.

Yesterday, the Brazosport ISD Education Foundation had the pleasure of serving lunch from On The River Restaurant to the incredible faculty and staff at Lanier Elementary.

It was a small way for us to say thank you for the big impact they make every single day. The dedication, patience, and heart our educators bring to their classrooms is truly inspiring. They pour so much into their students, and our community is stronger because of them.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support and celebrate the amazing team at Lanier Elementary. Thank you for the work you do to encourage, guide, and inspire BISD students every day.

Today was one of those days that truly reminds us why we do this work.

The BISD Education Foundation had the opportunity to host our general foundation meeting at Brazosport High School and see the 24–25 Grants for Great Ideas BBQ trailer in action with the Anchor and Flame competition cook off team.

Lunch was absolutely delicious. The students did an outstanding job, and it was such a proud moment to watch them prepare and serve a meal using equipment funded through our grants. This is hands-on, real-world learning that builds skills, confidence, and teamwork.

Experiences like this are only possible because of the incredible support of our community. To our donors, sponsors, and partners, thank you for believing in our students and investing in innovative opportunities across Brazosport ISD. Your generosity is making a lasting impact.

We are grateful to witness these programs come to life and honored to support the amazing things happening on our campuses every day.

We are still smiling from an unforgettable night at Throwback Prom: Tailgate ’n Celebrate.

Because of YOU, the BISD Education Foundation raised $170,000 to support students and educators across Brazosport Independent School District.

From sponsors and auction donors to table captains, volunteers, and every single guest who showed up in their best tailgate style, thank you. Your generosity fuels programs like Grants for Great Ideas, the IDEA Fund Mini Grants, and districtwide staff appreciation efforts that remind our teachers and staff how valued they truly are.

When our community comes together, big things happen for kids.

There is nothing better than getting to spend time on our campuses and loving on the people who make BISD so special.

This week, the Brazosport ISD Education Foundation had the opportunity to visit O.M. Roberts Elementary and enjoy lunchtime with their incredible team over La Casona Restaurant. Sharing a meal may seem simple, but it gave us a chance to slow down, connect, and say thank you in person.

Roberts Elementary is filled with educators and staff who pour their hearts into students every single day. Their energy, commitment, and genuine care for kids is something you can feel the moment you walk through the doors.

We are so grateful for the dedication of the Roberts team and for all they do to create a positive, supportive learning environment. It is an honor to support campuses like Roberts and celebrate the people who make the difference.

Thank you for loving our students well. We appreciate you more than you know.

There is something really special about Brazos Success Academy.

On Monday, the Brazosport ISD Education Foundation had the opportunity to visit Brazos Success Academy and spend time over coffee with their incredible faculty and staff. It was a simple gesture, but the gratitude we feel for this campus is anything but small.

BSA serves students with heart, patience, and unwavering commitment. The work happening on that campus requires compassion, consistency, and a deep belief in second chances and bright futures. Every single day, their team shows up ready to make a difference.

We are so thankful for the educators and staff at Brazos Success Academy who pour into students, build relationships, and create an environment where growth is possible. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and we are proud to support the meaningful work you do.

Thank you for loving our kids well and for standing in the gap when it matters most. The BISD Education Foundation is grateful for you.

Because of YOU, we are making history.

The Brazosport ISD Education Foundation is proud to announce a $60,000 donation to Brazosport ISD to fund translation devices on every campus across our district.

This investment means clearer communication, stronger family partnerships, and greater access for every student and parent we serve. It means barriers come down and opportunities open up.

Moments like this do not happen without a community that believes in public education. To our sponsors, donors, volunteers, board members, and every single person who showed up for Throwback Prom, this is your impact in action.

We are beyond grateful. We are proud of our district. And we are just getting started.

Together, we are making a meaningful difference for students and families across Brazosport ISD.
