Clute Intermediate Band

A little late to post, but, both Cougar bands are now finished with UIL and walked away with Excellent and Superior ratings. All of the band students represent the tradition of excellence here at CIS!

A heartfelt congratulations to our current and former Cougar Band students! Earlier this evening, our students represented CIS wonderfully with their performance in the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra Concert. We’d especially like to highlight Clute alumn, Nick Ballew, for a job well done on his solo. Mr.Fernandez, Mr.Torres, and Mr.Sandon are very proud!

Congratulations to our Symphonic and Concert Band Cougars at Pre-UIL! Today, our students traveled to Brazosport High School to receive feedback on the current program. Both ensembles walked away with superior ratings from all judges! A great step in the right direction for UIL!

A BIG congratulations to both our current students and Clute Band alumni for their spectacular performances today at the Whit Phillips Memorial Young Artist Competition. These students rose to the challenge of learning advanced literature outside the regular curriculum in order to compete for a chance to perform as a featured soloist with the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Fernandez, Mr. Torres, and Mr. Sandon are very proud!

Proud to support Celeste at the region 17 orchestra concert. This is a true honor distinguishing herself as one of the best middle school musicians in the area!

This past month was filled with so many great things from the Clute Cougar Band!

We had our annual 6th grade parent showcase filled with a ton of fun and laughs!

A HUGE success with our region auditions; our students set a new record in school history once again with 7 students participating in the All-Region Band including one region orchestra participant!

Lots of great things happening in The Clute Cougar Band!
