Catch the FINAL SHOWING of our August planetarium program, Scorpius & Sagittarius: Gems of the Summer Sky, TOMORROW at 7:00 PM!

Take a tour of the summer night sky as we explore the spectacular constellations Scorpius and Sagittarius, shining low in the southern sky. Along the way, discover dazzling star clusters, colorful nebulae, and the bright heart of our Milky Way Galaxy, all nestled among these iconic constellations. We’ll also uncover the fascinating myths behind the Scorpion and the Archer while learning why these zodiac constellations have captivated skywatchers for thousands of years.

What's coming up this weekend at the planetarium!?!? 🌟👩‍🚀🪐🔭🚀 Join us for the 4th Friday showing of our August show, Scorpius & Sagittarius: Gems of the Summer Sky on Friday at 7:00 PM.

Then on Saturday, we'll kick off the family fun with Star & Space Story Time at 12:30 PM, reading "If You Had Your Birthday on the Moon", followed at 1:00 PM by the planetarium show "We Are Astronomers".

Story Time is FREE, but an RSVP is requested. Show tickets are FREE to planetarium members; non-member tickets are $5/person. RSVP and get tickets online: bcfas.org/venue/basf-planetarium

Then at 1:00 PM, be sure to get tickets to planetarium show "The First Stargazers" about how ancient eyes viewed the night sky.
