There’s nothing like stepping onto a college campus to really understand what makes it unique! My visit to UC Merced in July included learning more about the exciting SJV PRIME+ program.

🩺 SJV PRIME+ (San Joaquin Valley Program in Medical Education) offers a pathway for students interested in becoming physicians and making a difference in the San Joaquin Valley. Students begin their journey at UC Merced and continue their medical education through UCSF School of Medicine, with a strong focus on improving healthcare access and serving Valley communities.

For students interested in medicine, community health, and serving the Central Valley, this is definitely a program worth exploring!

I love discovering new colleges for my students! Seton Hall University is at the top of my list for students looking at colleges on the east coast. This week I joined a webinar to learn more about the New Jersey university. ⭐

A variety of majors supporting both arts and sciences, with multidisciplinary learning, teaching and a research environment, Seton Hall prepares students for the future.

FACT:
- Many colleges and universities use the SAT and ACT score to award merit scholarships.
- A strong score can strengthen an application.
- Some colleges and universities have reinstated the standardized testing requirement.
- Can be helpful in college course placement for English and math classes.
