High School students get hands-on experience with the trades
Nearly 60 high school students had the opportunity to learn more about a variety of trades and have the opportunity to speak with apprentices and trades employers during the Apprenticeship Day at Plumbers, Pipefitters and HVACR Service Technicians Training Center. Video by John Walker

Young ladies also got the chance to try their hand in construction this week at the second annual Women in Trades (WiT) Conference, held Thursday, March 12. Then they heard from a panel of local tradeswomen as they told their inspiring stories of success!! State Center Adult Education Consortium Pathways Retreat at Tenaya Lodge was a huge success this weekend! While faculty wholeheartedly dove in to develop pathways they discovered how working together to support students is truly our mission! Inspired and amazed by all we accomplished.
