Niche/ less known College Majors and Jobs

To the world we dream about, and the one we live in now… you don’t have to “wait” to to graduate high school or college to start writing songs. Many community colleges offer classes and certificates and you can even take them while dual Enrolled in high school and college.
In California high schoolers can take classes at community colleges free so why not.

When you pay for a degree, you want to study and learn from people who can contribute to your résumé and help you get the jobs that you want while you’re completing a bachelors degree here and perhaps hanging out and talking with researchers studying ehlers Danlos, Your peers may be doing a bachelors degree learning about fungus or birds when they also want to go to medical school. choosing colleges by ranking is not the way to go. you want to look at what your professors are researching. now will a student doing a bachelors degree here get to do deep research on ehlers danlos? maybe , maybe not. that student would really need to be proactive and if they enrolled in that study be talking to the lab technicians and the researchers about how to integrate their course of study with the research but you are much more likely to be able to learn about ehlers danlos in a place where they’re studying it than at a highly ranked school where they got $3 million to look at the impact of climate change on lobsters gor their bio progeam if that makes sense.

For all the things you don’t know exist when it comes to college and career, follow along and share with your friends. Tell your teacher. show your counselor. You are buying an education, but for some reason, we have switched it to be that we are lucky we got in places and we are begging colleges to let us in. Same with the job market. we are begging employers to hire us for jobs we don’t even want. start being more deliberate and connecting what you love with where you want to work and how you earn your money. Polysonography is the actual name, many community colleges, hospitals, and sleep centers offer training. Inquire near you about how to get certified and what the job market is like or if you can learn on the job while you’re getting paid. This is a great job for people who want to work at night. Maybe you’re a stay at home parent needing to work, and can do this threee nights a week. Training can be done in classroom or on the job and an exam is needed. It’s not just hooking up and monitoring people overnight as they participate in a sleep study to monitor things like sleep apnea but it is also something that can be learned fairly quick for a decent pay. why does this matter? Well, universities that have departments that are collaborating with the dance department to help ensure the safety of their dancers and look at how to prevent injuries might be a better university to go to as a dancer than those that don’t. yes they’re using way more advanced technology than light up glow sticks to watch dancers dance, but sometimes doing the research on your university isn’t just about your department, you want to know who they collaborate with on campus. Day 1 of Halloween 2027. Let’s merge Shark werk and Halloween . When you choose to major in something like marine biology or you want to work in a trauma center or emergency reconstructive surgery maybe going to a school or go is internationally keeping the file of shark attacks is the place to be if that is your passion, obsession, and worst nightmare but in a way you want to work professionally. Academically this is how you choose a college, surround yourself with professors and researchers in your area of interest so you get to intern with the shark files 🦈🗂️not the xfiles👽🗂️. Mia is off to see the new Spider-Man movie but not in the 4 DX theaters. We don’t have one here. Do you have one where you live?
