Students in the IOT Clovis Welding Program are practicing heat control using the oxy-acetylene torch, developing the steady hand and technical skills needed for cutting, brazing, and welding applications.

Learning how to properly manage heat is a critical part of becoming a skilled welder, and our hands-on training gives students the confidence to tackle real-world projects safely and effectively.

Our students are sharpening their skills by practicing overhead flux core welding—one of the more challenging positions that requires precision, control, and confidence. Hands-on training like this helps prepare students for real-world welding environments and builds experience.
