For the past few weeks, Buchanan Jazz Band A has been recording at the Clovis Community Recording Studio, covering songs “Little Sunflower”, “Wave”, and “Yes or No.”

ADDITIONALLY, a synced video of their recording of “Little Sunflower” will be produced into video put together by Student Videographer Jacob Taylor

Surreal experience.

Day 4 of the Dayton, Ohio trip has reached a finale. Buchanan made it to finals, which means we have ONE LAST PERFORMANCE tomorrow at 5pm. We have been so grateful that we got to compete at WGI World Champions for the first time. The fact that we got to finals for our first time is something we are also so grateful for and will hold near to our hearts. One last time!

Special shoutout to Rudy, our Bass 4, for finishing the show even while receiving a deep cut in the middle of it. Truly blood, sweat, and tears! It was all worth it in the end(band trip to Scene 75!!!).

What an amazing weekend!

Day 3 of the Dayton, Ohio trip has come to a close. Buchanan competed in Prelims and MADE IT TO SEMI-FINALS! After watching Independent groups, Buchanan headed to an evening rehearsal, ready for another day of WGI!

Day 2 of the Dayton, Ohio trip has come to a close. One last rehearsal before Prelims, a tour of the Music For All office, and a fantastic meal form Buca di Bepo! Tomorrow will be our show, wish our team the bestest of luck!
