Today was so fun! We did an Easter activity with my social skills group. We used shaving cream and food dye to dip the eggs. It was far more accessible then the typical kits and they had so much fun. They turned out great and I will definitely keep this craft in my back pocket to do again!

Working on an essay this morning. We are focusing on time management and independence while working on homework.

Functional skills at work! We googled a recipe, went to the store to get ingredients, and fully cooked lunch ourselves. The goal is to learn to be as independent as possible. We start with the basics and work our way up.

We worked on desensitization today! Getting ready to go back to school and that long break is hard sometimes. We watched some favorite videos while driving past the school and parking in front of it. We want to make the transition as easy as possible and this is a great way to do it. Pairing a non preferred with a high preferred!

We got to go to the movies today! We worked on sound desensitization by watching a favorite movie character. We brought our headphones and reinforcers then watched a good movie!
