We are incredibly proud of these outstanding students who have demonstrated excellence in Mind, Body, and Spirit throughout the school year. Their hard work, character, perseverance, and positive contributions make Woods Elementary a better place each and every day.

Our kindergarten artists are dreaming of summer with their watermelon art this week! 🍉 We read a silly watermelon book called “The Watermelon Seed,” (no, watermelons can’t grow out of our ears if you swallow a seed…), talked about color and made a “collage” using torn paper. Every watermelon was sweetly different!! Thank you, Mrs. Clinard!

Shelf reminder! 📚⏰ It’s time to round up those library books and return them to the Woods Library. Check the posted library dates and help us get our books back home for summer! Happy reading, Wolverines! 🐾

What an incredible celebration of culture, music, and dance at Woods today! 💃✨ We are so proud of our students who participated in the Bhangra and Folklórico performances in collaboration with Century and Dry Creek. Opportunities like these help our students learn more about the diverse cultures that make our Woods community so special. Great job, Wolverines! ❤️🎶

Please join us in welcoming Miss Mariana Mendoza to the Woods family as our new Autism 1st–3rd Grade teacher! We have already been so impressed by Miss Mendoza’s genuine care, compassion, and dedication to supporting students.
