Here's a perfect example of learning through play!
I gave this child a color matching activity and added additional "tools" to see if she would get creative.
She did!!
Even though I didn't direct her to use scooping skills to collect the puff balls she saw the measuring spoon and put it to work! I do not "correct" them with open ended learning activities!
