It’s Wednesday, and it’s quiet uptown… or downtown, in Kenny’s case. 🎶

Apparently someone isn’t handling Fall Break quite as well as the rest of us. The empty halls are getting to him, but in true Kenny fashion, he’s being completely normal and not dramatic about it at all. 😂🍬

We hope all of our Kinard families are having a great break! Show us what you’ve been up to this week — drop a picture in the comments!

It’s National Coaches Day, and Coach Wright gets TWO very enthusiastic thumbs up from the PTO! 👍👍😂

Whether he’s being covered in slime, turned into a human sundae, or participating in whatever other ridiculous incentive we dream up next, Coach Wright is ALWAYS a good sport.

But more importantly, he encourages our students every day to be the best versions of themselves—physically, mentally, and as teammates. He goes far beyond what’s expected and is always willing to show up for our students, our staff, and our school.

We’re so lucky to have him at Kinard. Happy National Coaches Day, Coach Wright! 💙💚

And Coach… thanks for continuing to trust the PTO. We’re not sure why you do. 😂

Well… it’s official. Kenny has let the fame go straight to his head. 😎🍬

Our favorite candy loving monster is making another appearance on PTO Today, and we’re not sure his ego will ever recover. 😂

Head over to their page and show our Kinard celebrity some love! 💚💙🍬

It’s World Teachers’ Day! 🍎💙💚

Kenny decided to lend a hand during Fall Break and make a few copies for the staff. 😂📄

Today we’re recognizing the teachers who encourage, inspire, and make a difference for our students every single day. We hope all of our Kinard teachers know just how appreciated they are — today and always! 💛

Shout out a teacher who has made an impact on your child in the comments! 🫶

And teachers… if you left copies to be made over break, please keep your expectations reasonable. Kenny is still figuring it out. 😂🍬

🚨 LAST CHANCE 🚨

Today is the final day to order Spirit Wear for the 2026–2027 school year. Our store will not reopen again this school year, so be sure to place your order before it closes!

We’d love to see our students, families, and staff showing their Kinard pride all year long.

Kenny received more than candy last week!

🍬🎨

Two of his 2nd grade friends decided to use their Fun Friday to draw him some self portraits, and we think they’re pretty accurate! 😂

We absolutely love seeing Kenny come to life through our students’ eyes, so of course we had to bring their versions to life too! ✨

If you need a fun activity during Fall Break, have your little artist draw Kenny and send it our way. We’d love to see how more of our students see our favorite candy monster! 💙

Kenny: 10/10.
The artists: 100/10. 🎨🍬

The halls are quiet, the students are gone, and Kenny is feeling a little… lonely. 🥺🍬

No worries though — he’ll be ready and waiting to see all his favorite people (and fill his belly with candy 😉) when everyone returns!

Enjoy Fall Break, KES! 💙🍂

🍎 Our staff is awesome to the core! 🍎

We’re wrapping up the first quarter with a little extra sweetness for our amazing Kinard staff! Today’s treat is an Apple Nacho Bar complete with warm chocolate, caramel & Nutella, plenty of toppings, apple c***r, and fresh apple c***r donuts. 🍏🍩

A HUGE thank you to Windy Hill Orchard & C***r Mill for generously donating the apples and apple c***r donuts! We’re so thankful for community partners who help us show a little extra love to the incredible staff who pour so much into our students every day. ❤️

We hope our Kinard staff enjoys this sweet treat and has the most relaxing, well deserved Fall Break! 🍂💙💚
