The future of sports medicine is looking bright💙💡

This school year, we had the opportunity to host students from the Clover High School Athletic Training Department here at SpecOrtho — and getting to watch these students learn, grow, ask questions, and gain hands-on experience has been such a rewarding experience for our team. We’re already looking forward to welcoming next year’s students and continuing this partnership for another great school year 💚

Huge shoutout to ALL of the students who came through our office throughout the 2025–2026 school year. Your passion, curiosity, and willingness to learn did not go unnoticed, and we can’t wait to see where your future takes you 🩺🏈⚕️

And a special thank you to the Clover High School Athletic Training department for trusting us with such an awesome group of future healthcare professionals. The future of sports medicine is definitely in good hands 🙌

Our Sports Medicine 3 students completed their clinical rotations today. We would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Glen Feltham and and his entire staff at SpecOrtho for graciously hosting our students this semester. They have been afforded an immeasurable experience. Looking forward to adding Lake Wylie High School to the rotation next year!

We are so excited to recognize Matt Bressler for National Athletic Training Month! 🎉

Mr. Bressler has dedicated an incredible 35 years to the athletic training profession and is currently in his 18th year at Clover High School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and his master’s degree from the University of Memphis. He is passionate about working in athletics and helping student-athletes recover from injuries so they can safely return to the sports they love.

His experience, commitment, and care for students make a lasting impact on our school, and we are so grateful to have him as a part of Clover High School!

We are so excited to recognize Alina McDonald for National Athletic Training Month! 🎉
Ms. McDonald has been an athletic trainer for 7 years and has spent the past 3 years serving Clover High School. She is passionate about helping athletes work through their injuries and return to the sports they love. Her dedication to student-athlete care makes a lasting impact both on and off the field, and we are so grateful to have her as part of the CHS community!

We are proud to celebrate National Athletic Training Month and recognize the dedication and impact of Kim Bressler! 🎉
Mrs. Bressler attended East Carolina University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training. Additionally, she holds a Master of Education in Athletic Administration. Mrs. Bressler has 26 years of experience as an athletic trainer, including 22 years at Clover High School.
She is passionate about building relationships with students and athletes and helping them recover from injuries. She also enjoys seeing athletes overcome challenges and return to success.
Clover High School is very fortunate to have her as part of the athletic training program. Thank you, Mrs. Bressler, for the impact you make every day!

We are so excited to recognize Justin Cheek for National Athletic Training Month! 🎉

Mr. Cheek attended Limestone College and has dedicated 22 years to the athletic training profession. He is passionate about helping athletes recover from injuries, return to play safely, and develop both on and off the field. He is a key piece of Clover High School’s Athletic Training Program, and we are very lucky to have him!

Our Athletic Training Student Aides traveled to River Bluff High School today to take part in the South Carolina Athletic Trainers Association Secondary School Workshop. They spent the day learning about various topics taught by current master's level athletic training students from clinical athletic training programs around the state. It was a great day of learning, networking, and fellowship. The future of athletic training is bright.

I had the amazing opportunity to spend the weekend with our athletic training student Jessica working the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. Jessica had a wonderful week working with the medical staff, players and coaches. It is so fulfilling to see students flourish! Congratulations Jessica! We are so proud of your accomplishments! 🍀🦅💙🩶
