Last week, we celebrated our students who completed their enrichment packets over the summer. They enjoyed an ice cream party with all of their favorite toppings on a very hot day!

Hello, parents! We are excited to announce that we will be starting an All Pro Dad Chapter here at Oakridge! All Pro Dad is a monthly gathering where dads get to intentionally engage with their kids in 2nd-5th grade! This, of course, is not just limited to dads, but all children must be accompanied by an adult. There will be fun activities and a character-based curriculum that helps dads start meaningful conversations with their kids. Our first gathering is scheduled for Monday, August 24 at 7:15 am in Room 307, and we would love to see you there. MVP of the Week: Innovation Coach, Mrs. Colon!! Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure our teachers and students are tech-ready for a great start to the school year! From troubleshooting devices to making sure technology is working properly, she has been behind the scenes working hard to help everything run smoothly.

We’re thrilled for this year’s main fundraiser, our Oakridge Elementary Fun Run and 5th Grade Color Run! Our fundraising goal is to raise $35,000 for a new fence for the kindergarten playground, while also supporting enriching programs and experiences that benefit students throughout the school year.

Why are we excited?

Meet Mrs. Price, our dedicated Registrar at OES, who is being recognized wearing the first ever OES MVP chain! She makes all of the magic happen behind the scenes with registration, scheduling, and attendance. You'll never catch her without a smile on her face, and she is always ready to help our families! It was such a great first day of school at Oakridge Elementary that we forgot to post yesterday! 😄 Our hallways were filled with smiles and excitement as we welcomed our Eagles back for an amazing new school year!
