Hello friends of the Cloudcroft Art Society (CAS)!
We hope you saw some of our members at Art and Wine in the Cool Pines this past weekend. They had a really good art show at our annual Train Depot location next to the display caboose at the Museum.
Next up for CAS is our annual Fundraiser on Saturday August 15, 9 to 3 (or 2). All information is in this flyer -
"Things Art" are featured - art supplies, frames, books, donated pottery, donated paintings, etc.
Funds raised pad our Treasury and allow us to teach and present art in the community.
After this, look for our *Labor Day Art Show* also in the big back Community Room in the old Red Brick building - Friday afternoon Sep 4, Saturday Sep 5, 10 to 5, Sunday Sep 6, 10 to 3. All one-of-a-kind works from our local artists. There should be art for tables - pottery, pine-needle baskets, candles, folk art, other decor - and art for walls - framed original photography and digital art, framed original paintings, in all media, matted and framed reproductions, cards. Images mostly feature area landscapes, wildlife, architecture, gardens, and others..
