A Pre-school/Day care that has provided a loving environment for over 60 years. We are known for our Jack in the Box Schools has a perfect "report card".

Change is inevitable and is always welcomed, especially in preschools. As the curriculum standards change and the state changes their regulations, so do we at Jack in the Box Schools in Closter, Alpine and Tenafly. Our staff attends many workshops to update themselves on new curriculum standards and to bring them and implement them in our classrooms. Every year the State of New Jersey, Dep't of Children and Family Affairs, comes and performs their yearly inspection and every year we pass the inspection with flying colors. Our staff is trained with knowing every detail of sanitary safety and child safety. Our teachers and directors are CPR/First Aid certified. The one thing, though, that remains constant and without change is our staff's love and pleasure for teaching. Our school has the warmth and security that every parents looks for in a preschool. This is only possible because Jack in the Box School has better than the required teacher/student ratio. Our parents, past and present, have written their accords of their experiences with us saying that "nowhere else in the Northern Valley area have we seen the compassion and affection that we found in the Little Schoolhouse in the middle of the town of Closter". The teachers and directors are professional, they love what they do, and they love the school. This gives credence to the longevity of the staff in all three schools. If you are looking for a small, loving, private preschool where children get the attention they need because of the small class sizes, then we are the school for your child!
