🍎🍏 APPLE DAY SCIENCE + TASTE TEST! 🍏🍎

Today we were little scientists! First we made our predictions - will the apples SINK or FLOAT?

All our friends thought that 2 sink, 5 thought float... and guess what? THEY ALL FLOATED!

After our experiment we did an apple taste test with red, yellow, and green apples. Our chart says it all... GREEN was the favorite today! 💚

So much learning in one yummy day - predicting, counting, graphing, and tasting!

Spaghetti was a hit today 🍝

Almost every one of our littles asked for seconds! Nothing better than full bellies and happy faces around the table.

We worked on using our spoons, trying new textures, and of course - table manners with our friends. So proud of them! 💛

One of our sweet littles brought this gorgeous sunflower for our classroom this morning, picked fresh from their garden! 🌻 Nothing brightens our day like a flower picked just for you. 💛

First day of preschool! 📸🍎🖍️🪿

Our sweet friends stepped through the door and into a brand new year of learning, playing, and growing together. We're starting the year off with the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes, and we can't wait to see what these little learners accomplish!

We're so excited to have each one of them in our class this year. Here's to giggles, crafts, and new friends. ❤️

Happy Friday from our lunch crew! 🍕❤️

Nothing like pizza and happy friends to end the week!

Today we pause to remember and honor the men and women who lost their lives on 9/11.

This isn't something we usually post, but we feel it's important to remember those who have been affected by the attacks that day.

We remember.

We honor.

We never forget.

Keeping everyone in our thoughts today, and hugging our littles a little bit tighter ❤

🎓 Kindergarten send-off party! 🎓

On Wednesday we threw a little party for our friend who started kindergarten on Thursday! He got to wear a cap and gown and was SO excited to take pictures in it 📸✨

After nap we celebrated with cupcakes (and freezies for our friends who couldn't have the cupcake!) 🧁❄️

We're so proud of you and know you're going to do amazing things in kindergarten. We love you! ❤️

🍎Our apple tree is officially up! 🍎

The kids' first question: 'Why are the apples TALKING?!' 😂 And yes, those are your farmers, Miss Katie and Miss Janelle 👩🏼‍🌾👩🏼‍🌾
