Nandagikendan-Seek to Learn-Academy

Day One of the 2026 High School Summer Seek to Learn Academy! Students toured Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College, explored career options through self reflection, visited Jay Cooke State Park, and more! It was a busy first day, and there’s plenty of excitement planned for tomorrow!

Last week we wrapped up the 2025-2026 High School Seek to Learn Academy (Academic Year) by having Barnum High School visit Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College during our last Campus Visit Day of the academic year!

Students from Denfeld High School toured Minnesota North College-Itasca Campus and attended mock classes to explore the education and engineering programs today.
Fun Fact: The engineering faculty that taught the class happens to be Denfeld Alumni!

Today students from the Fond du Lac Ojibwe School, Cloquet, MN visited University of Wisconsin Superior to learn about the campus, its programs, and the supports and opportunities that are available for Native American students.

Students from Hinckley-Finlayson High School visited St. Cloud State University last week to check out what programs are available and what campus is like at SCSU.

Students from Barnum High School recently visited the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. It was a beautiful day for a campus tour!

On Monday, students from Wrenshall High School visited and toured St. Cloud State University to learn more about the campus the program options.

Last week, students from McGregor High School braved the snow (and rain) to visit St. Cloud State University.

On Tuesday, students from Carlton High School visited University of Minnesota Duluth and tried out some activities with virtual reality goggles. It was quite the exciting experience and highlighted the many resources at UM-Duluth!
