Shuler Elementary School Shuler Elementary, part of Waukee CSD, is where students are empowered to lead, grow, and thrive. We are proud Northwest Wolves within the Clive city limits.

Shuler opened in 2010 and is one of eight elementary schools in the Waukee Community School District. Our school serves Preschool through 5th grade students. Shuler is home to approximately 680 students living primarily in the cities of Clive and Urbandale in Dallas County. Shuler E

lementary’s primary focus is student learning and helping each child reach his or her full potential. Our school also offers additional support services in the areas of Reading Lab, Special Education, Extended Learning, and English as a Second Language. With our strong emphasis on meeting the needs of all students through differentiated instruction and research-based practices, the students at Shuler have outperformed peers on state and national assessments.

What an AMAZING drop off this morning for our students! We are so happy to see their faces back in our hallways! Our TK and Kindergarten students did so well dropping off to Shuler for their first time ever when it was their turn. So excited for another amazing year!

Shuler teachers are back! Friday, our teachers participated in a day of learning and fun. We kicked off the day with a quick training session and ended it with an amazing team building activity at a local escape room. A huge thanks to Shuler Elementary PTO - Waukee for sponsoring our trip!
