🖤🧡 WHAT A NIGHT, MUSTANGS! 🧡🖤

As we look back on our 5th Annual Back-to-School Kickoff, one thing stands out above everything else: this is what community looks like.

Thousands of students, families, staff members, volunteers, community organizations, and neighbors came together with one shared purpose, to celebrate our kids and make sure they begin the new school year knowing they are supported, valued, and ready for success.

To our incredible sponsors and community partners*—THANK YOU. This event simply would not be possible without you. Your generosity goes far beyond helping provide school supplies, activities, resources, and an unforgettable evening. You are investing in our children. You are showing our families that they have a community standing beside them. And you are helping create opportunities and memories that our students will carry with them long after this night is over.

To our staff and volunteers, thank you for the countless hours, helping hands, and heart you poured into making this event happen. So much takes place behind the scenes, and we are incredibly grateful for every person who helped bring it all together.

And to our Mustang families, thank you for showing up.! Thank you for filling Pride Stadium with smiles, laughter, excitement, and Mustang pride. Seeing our students running, playing, connecting with friends, picking up their school supplies, and getting excited about the year ahead reminded us exactly why we started this tradition five years ago.

We wanted to bring our community together.
We wanted every family to feel connected.

And most importantly, we wanted every child to know that an entire community believes in them and is cheering them on before they ever walk through the school doors on the first day.

Five years later, that mission is stronger than ever.

When schools, families, businesses, organizations, and neighbors come together for kids, something truly special happens.

Hello CCHS family!
We hope to see everyone at the district Back to School Kickoff tomorrow from 6-8 at PRIDE Stadium. Also, mark your calendars for the following events:
Thursday, August 13th, 8 am - 2 pm: Students can get school pictures taken at CHS.
Wednesday, August 19th, 5-6 pm: Open House with Schedules available.
Monday, August 24th, 7:25 am: Doors open for the 1st day of school. Dismissal at 2:30 pm.

Five years ago, we started the Back-to-School Kickoff with a simple but important goal: bring our community together and make sure every child begins the school year feeling supported, prepared, and ready to succeed.

We wanted families to have a place to connect. We wanted students to have the supplies and resources they need. And most of all, we wanted every child to walk into the first day of school knowing that an entire community is cheering them on.

This event is about more than bounce houses, music, games, and school supplies. It’s about belonging. It’s about connection. It’s about making sure every student has what they need to start the year with confidence.

When our community comes together for our kids, incredible things happen. For that we are thankful! 🧡🖤
