Ridgeview Teachers! I have created another tool that you all are free to use. This website was inspired by a fellow teacher whom I have substituted for several times. It is meant to be used for when you have a substitute (planned or unexpected). The idea is that you leave a link to the website and your substitute can easily see what you have got planned for the day. No need to worry if it was a last minute decision, just update the plans and republish it for your sub.
Perks
* You can set it up to where only your substitute sees it (password protected)
* The sub doesn’t need a Canva log-in or Google log-in to view it (sub will need computer log-in)
* Update the plans at home any time
How to set it up
1. Make sure you have a Canva account already (it’s free, teachers gets perks)
2. Click the link: https://www.canva.com/design/DAGbESMDSzc/HxjwFq1eOP3-uZJ8GcN1MA/view?utm_content=DAGbESMDSzc&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=publishsharelink&mode=preview
3. Choose the “Use template for new design” option
4. Edit it however you like and add info
5. Go to the upper right hand corner to the share button
6. Click “website”
7. Click “publish settings”
8. Click “advanced settings”
9. Enable password protection
10. Create your password (make sure to leave this password along with the url in your substitute folder that is easily found in case of emergencies)
