Giving Back

Today, some of our ASLA kiddos visited a local nursing home. They went room to room handing out ice cream sandwiches and prayer cards to each resident, sharing kindness and brightening their day. 😊

To celebrate CNA Week, we also delivered doughnuts, drinks, and flowers to the hardworking CNAs who care for the residents every day.

We believe it’s important to teach our children the value of kindness, gratitude, and giving back to those in our community. Today was a wonderful reminder that even the simplest acts of kindness can make someone’s day a little brighter. ❤️

Our artists had an amazing day getting creative!

🖌️Our older group painted canvas tote bags and turned them into one-of-a-kind masterpieces.

🪁 Our younger group painted kites and then headed to the park to watch them fly high in the sky!

While they painted, they enjoyed snacks, sipped on their drink, and of course made memories with friends.

🍽️🍅From our Garden to our Table! 🍅🍽️

The kids harvested tomatoes from the garden, rinsed them, and turned them into fresh homemade salsa. After enjoying every bite, they saved and replanted seeds to see if they can grow a new batch of tomatoes before summer ends. 🌱

What started as a tiny seed became a delicious snack and a hands-on lesson all in one. The smiles, excitement, and proud faces when they tasted their salsa made this project even sweeter.

Summer at ASLA is all about making memories, trying new things, getting our hands dirty, and learning in ways that don’t feel like school. ❤️

And according to the kids… the salsa was a 10/10! 🌮🍅😋
