It’s almost time for fall classes to begin. The signs are everywhere from totes placed in their classes and new student binders on the shelf, class lists printed and class room supplies being dropped off every few days. I’m sew excited! Classes start Aug. 31st check your email for the welcome letter.

Do you have a child interested in learning to sew? Do they have something they wish they could make? A cozy quilt, fun cape or a dreamy Christmas or school dance dress? My classes are for boys and girls 7-18. Students sew at their own pace and skill level. Classes are mixed skill and ages and fun for everyone. I still have spaces in some of my classes. Classes are held Mon-Wed. Homeschool and afterschool@classes are available. Fall Sewing Registration closes August 10th. Visit www.thimbleandspoolsewing.com to see past projects and class time. This sewist found cute knitted fabric and made her dress into an off the shoulder swimsuit cover up. She learned how to use bias tape to finish up the neckline instead of using a neckband. She made this dress her own and did an amazing job.
