Late start! Kids are here 10:30-2:30. There’s no bus at 12:30! If you have a bus rider their bus comes at 2:30. PM students are welcome to come 12:30-2:30, no transportation provided!

EAC HOMECOMING FRIDAY SCHEDULE

Friday, September 25

Friday will look a little different at EAC!

To allow staff and students across the district to attend the Homecoming Breakfast, the district will have a 2-hour late start on Friday, September 25.

MORNING STUDENTS

EAC morning students will attend from 10:30 AM–2:30 PM.

Please note: Because of the district’s late-start schedule, there will NOT be an early dismissal on Friday.

Normally, our morning students attend from 8:30 AM–12:30 PM. On Friday, their day will simply shift two hours later:

Regular Friday: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
September 25: 10:30 AM–2:30 PM

Transportation will also run 2 hours later than usual in the morning. For example, if your normal pickup time is 8:15 AM, your Friday pickup time will be 10:15 AM. Buses will pick students up from EAC at 2:30 PM.

We know those extra two hours are outside our students' normal routine! Since it's Homecoming Week, we have some fun Homecoming activities planned from 12:30–2:30 PM and really hope to see all of our morning students here for the entire day!

AFTERNOON STUDENTS

There will still be NO regular afternoon classes on Friday.

However, afternoon students are invited to join us from 12:30–2:30 PM for our Homecoming activities!

Students choosing to attend will need to provide their own transportation to and from EAC, and a school lunch will not be provided.

We want Homecoming Week to be a fun week for our EAC students, and we're excited to celebrate with them!

Homecoming Dress-Up Days begin Monday with Pajama Day! We'll share the rest of the week's dress-up days soon.

To our students: You matter. Your story matters. And you belong here.

High school can be hard. Life can be hard. You don't have to have everything figured out, and you don't have to carry the hard stuff alone. Talk to someone. Check on your friends. Listen without judgment. Be the person who reminds someone that they matter.

Sometimes one conversation, one kind word, or one person choosing to stay can make all the difference.

There are people you haven't met yet who will be glad you stayed. 💜
