What a sweet week at preschool! 🍦☀️ On Tuesday, our 3’s enjoyed a special visit from the ice cream truck, and on Wednesday, our 4’s took a walking field trip to Just Chill for some delicious treats. A huge thank you to Williams and Co. Sweet Treats and Just Chill for being so wonderful to our students! We are so lucky to be located in a beautiful town where we can walk to local spots and have parents join us along the way. There was no better way to cool off on those hot days than having ice cream with friends! 😃

What a fun week at preschool! 🦋🌈🎲
The children loved releasing the butterflies that we watched transform from caterpillars 🐛, practicing rainbow relaxation breathing, and sharing laughs during board game day with friends.

We celebrated spring all week! 🌸
We explored seeds, sprouts, and how flowers grow, 🌱observed bugs,🐞and celebrated birthdays. 🎉 Our 4s focused on the letter R -for rockets-and had a blast launching their own! 🚀

We celebrated Earth Day by cleaning up our school grounds, planting seeds, and learning ways to care for our beautiful planet. 🌎 🌸 Our little artists had fun painting butterflies and fish, creating the Earth on coffee filters, and blending paint colors.🎨
We also enjoyed special visits from older kids (some preschool alumni!) who joined us for Take Your Child to Work Day. They were great helpers. 😃

What a sunny, fun-filled week at preschool! ☀️
Our 4s enjoyed a walking field trip to the library and park, where they got a tour of the library and had a blast on the playground with friends. 😎 They also experimented and learned all about clouds and the different shapes we see in the sky! ☁️
Our 3s were busy strengthening their scissor skills and learning about caterpillars and butterflies. 🐛🦋

We had a wonderful week celebrating Spring! 🐣🌿
We explored with a fun spring scavenger hunt, discovering the signs of the season all around us. 🐞🌸 We also filled our days with special guest readers, music, and play. A special highlight was chapel time with Pastor Tracey, where we leaned about the true meaning of Easter and God’s love for all of us. 💗✝️☺️

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️
Every day at preschool is a little bit magical, but the past two days brought an extra sprinkle of mischief and fun! Those sneaky leprechauns left a mess for our 4s to clean up, and then they got right to work building traps to get them next time! We counted coins, explored color blending, and stamped gold paint at the ends of our rainbows 🌈 ✨
We were also so lucky to have Pastor Tracey, originally from Northern Ireland, stop by and share a festive read! 📚 💚

What a wonderful week we’ve had back outside enjoying the warmer weather! ☀️
We explored transportation and vehicles, weather and rainbows, and did some fun finger painting. 🚗🌈🫟
We also introduced shamrocks and leprechauns and will of course be hearing more about that next week! ☘️

We were so excited to get back outside for fresh air and fun! ☀️ We also celebrated Dr. Seuss with plenty of silly stories and wacky days.📚😃 Thank you to the parents and special grown ups who join us to read and share with our kids. We love learning, playing, and growing together! 🎨💫
