Today marks our very first day of learning, leading, and growing in the brand-new CMS building, and we couldn’t be more excited! Seeing our amazing teachers and staff together in this new space is a reminder that it’s not just the building that makes CMS great, it’s the people inside it.

Here’s to new beginnings, new memories, and the same Red Tornado heart that keeps us every day.

Our crews are working hard to clear lots and sidewalks, and everything is set for a great day of learning. And yes, breakfast will be extra cozy with biscuits and gravy! 😋

We are keeping a close eye on the weather and will continue to monitor conditions through the weekend. See you soon!

Clinton Public Schools is closely monitoring the approaching winter weather forecast. At this time, school will be in session Friday, January 23. We will continue to track conditions with student and staff safety as our top priority.

If inclement weather requires any changes to our normal school schedule, those decisions will be communicated as quickly as possible.

Families and staff are encouraged to watch for official updates from CPS via text message, email, phone calls, our website, social media, and local news stations.

Our Clinton vocalists are headed to High School and Children’s All-State today, and we could not be more excited for them. 🎶

These students have put in the work, shown incredible dedication, and earned the honor of representing Clinton on a statewide stage. We are proud of their talent, their discipline, and the heart they bring to every rehearsal and performance.
